RMEOC’s Inaugural Day at the Capitol

More than 50 people joined us for our inaugural Day at the Capitol. We had employee-owners from a variety of companies including: Odell Brewing Company, P&L Printing, Namasté Solar, Leevers Supermarkets, and others. Jason Wiener, an attorney that specializes in worker cooperatives was in attendance, as well as, what will become one of the largest transportation worker cooperatives in the nation, Green Taxi Cooperative. Representatives Lois Court and Paul Rosenthal were our legislative sponsors. Other legislators who joined us and/or helped us that day were: Majority Leader Crisanta Duran, Representatives Janet Buckner and Steve Lebsock.
