Monthly Info Sessions +
This year, we’re excited to announce the launch of information sessions and “office hours” at the end of each month.
RMEOC hosts monthly employee ownership (EO) introductory webinars on the last Wednesday of every month from 11:30am – 12:30pm.
In addition to a short presentation about all forms of EO from 11:30am – 12pm, these sessions will include open office hours from 12pm – 12:30pm where you can drop in (virtually) to ask questions about exploring or pursuing employee ownership.
Please register below to attend either the presentation and/or office hours.
- Register for May 26 – Intro to EO and Office Hours
- Register for June 30 – Intro to EO and Office Hours
Note: June’s intro session is hosted in partnership with the Northwest SBDC and is open to businesses statewide.
Human Resource Issues in Employee Owned Companies:
How Different Are They?
No matter what kind of employee owned company you’re part of (or what kind you’re thinking about implementing), bringing people on board, letting them go, and evaluating and engaging them along the way can be challenging. By learning how to align your company’s practices with its values you can save time and money — and create a great place to work.
In this 90-minute session hosted by RMEOC and led by Jennifer Briggs, Senior Strategy Consultant at The Beyster Institute at the Rady School of Management, you’ll learn human resource strategies for employee owned workplaces, including ESOPs and co-ops, that you can use right away. We’ll also bust some myths about the differences (or not?) between employee owned workplaces and traditional ones.
