The People's Economy Academy
The economy we need is closer than we think. Hosted by RMEOC, the People's Economy Academy is an introduction to economic democracy, the social and solidarity economy, and community wealth building.
Over the eight months of the Academy, participants will hear dynamic presentations from leading practitioners in the field of solidarity economies. Group discussion will also be a major component of the program.
At a Glance
- Format: 8 monthly sessions, first Wednesday of each month
- Dates: October 2026 through May 2027
- Time: 1:00–2:30 PM ET (11:00 AM–12:30 PM MT)
- Where: Online via Zoom
- Tuition: $200 for the eight-session webinar series, or $25 per individual session. Tuition is offered on a sliding scale; these amounts are recommended donations.
