Hosted by Elias Crim
First Wednesday of Every Month
Join us for RMEOC’s Social Cooperative Roundtable, a monthly gathering designed to explore how cooperative models can address community needs in education, childcare, caregiving, mental health, housing, and beyond. Each month, we bring together community members, organizers, and cooperative practitioners for an open, welcoming conversation about building solutions rooted in collaboration and shared ownership.
Guided by host Elias Crim, these sessions dive into real-world challenges facing Colorado communities and highlight how multi-stakeholder “social co-ops” can support care work, strengthen local institutions, and create more resilient, people-centered systems. Whether you’re new to the cooperative model or already involved in community-based work, you’ll leave with practical insights, new connections, and inspiration for what’s possible.
What to Expect:
An accessible introduction to social cooperatives and why they matter
Discussion of emerging opportunities in education, childcare, and care economy sectors
Examples of successful community-driven cooperative initiatives
Space for dialogue, questions, and collaborative idea-sharing
Networking with advocates, entrepreneurs, and community leaders
This event is free and open to everyone who wants to imagine—and build—a more cooperative future.
