Deyanira Zavala is a strategic nonprofit leader with more than 15 years of experience strengthening mission-driven organizations through sound financial stewardship, grantmaking, and cross-sector collaboration. She has managed seven-figure budgets, overseen competitive grantmaking processes, and partnered closely with finance and operations teams to ensure strong internal controls and responsible resource management.

Deyanira has served as Executive Director of Mile High Connects and Interim Associate Executive Director at Colorado Center on Law and Policy, holding senior leadership roles during organizational transitions, where she supported compliance, reporting, and alignment between strategy and financial oversight. Her experience working alongside philanthropic funders, CDFIs, and public agencies gives her a strong understanding of how capital can be deployed responsibly to maximize community impact.
