Co-op Conversion

Converting a company into an employee-owned company can be complex, but RMEOC has a step-by-step process to help you start and complete the conversion process.

Funding for Rural Colorado Businesses

With the help of the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT), we now offer funding to help offset the cost of Technical Assistance for converting your business to an employee-owned structure. The purpose of this funding is to keep businesses - and the wealth they create - in the communities they serve.

Social Cooperatives

Social coops are a community-led enterprises which deliver care services created and governed by multiple types of members. The latter might include care providers, care recipients, family members, community members, local government, and volunteers. Unlike worker cooperatives, social coops focus not only on their workers but on community benefit generally.

Employee Ownership Incubation

Employee ownership incubation helps businesses transition to employee-owned models by providing education, planning, legal, financial, and ongoing support to ensure successful and sustainable employee ownership.
